A Legend is built with stories and facts but with Ron everything is awesome.. He rode during a golden period when you could get at a Supercross race without any preparation….. and won this one..!  No training required when you are one of the Biggest Natural Talent of the History.. Jérôme FARAILL / MXVOICE.RACING : You were for sure the first “Mad Dog” in the history of Modern Motocross, You were worldly-wise to come to a Supercross without any preparation and won this one (!!) .. Did You know that You had a Real Pure Talent or You think that was just a question of luck..? Ron “The Dogger” LECHIEN : It was for sure Talent and I knew I was as good or largest than all the guys I raced… It was just a matter of if I could make it to the finish without getting tired… Some night I was good and other night I would not make it…. I rode a lot, but not much else trains.. Jérôme FARAILL / MXVOICE.RACING : Today everything is controlled by the sponsors, all that a Rider “can say” is written on paper, no fun aloud.. Do You understand this kind of situation to gravity riders to be unchangingly “clean” with the cap and the goggles virtually the neck..? Ron “The Dogger” LECHIEN : Yes I understand it with all the corporate money and television we have with SX/MX these days… I still like the days of say what you finger and if you win the race you get to kiss the trophy girl!!!! (Smiles..) Jérôme FARAILL / MXVOICE.RACING : In one month there will be the GP of France at Villars-sous-Ecot, i know that You remember everything of this Famous MXON.. How did You finger it inside, as a Moment of Grace..? Ron “The Dogger” LECHIEN : This was a very big win for me and Team USA and I was very proud to be the team leader and win both of my moto’s…. At this time we were the leaders in world MX and to be part of the 13 years win streak twice was awesome…!!! Jérôme FARAILL / MXVOICE.RACING : What do You think You would be if You hadn’t find the MX on your way and without the Company of your dad (MAXIMA..), definitely a Bad Boy..? Ron “The Dogger” LECHIEN : Hard to say Jerome… Maybe I would be a Oceanographer or something to do with animals.. I think the whole MX thing is what made me into the bad boy I was… I would not have been this way without the money and fame that was MX.. Ron “The Dogger” LECHIEN: C’était pour sûr Talent et je savais que j’étais aussi bon ou meilleur que tous les gars que j’ai couru… C’était juste une question de savoir si je pouvais arriver à l’arrivée sans être fatigué… Une nuit j’étais bon et l’autre nuit je n’ y arriverais pas….. J’ai beaucoup roulé, mais pas beaucoup d’autres entraînements… Jérôme FARAILL / MXVOICE: Aujourd’hui tout est contrôlé par les sponsors, tout ce qu’un Cavalier “peut dire” est écrit sur papier, pas de fun à voix haute… Comprenez-vous ce genre de situation pour forcer les coureurs à être toujours “propre” avec la casquette et les lunettes autour du cou…? Ron “The Dogger” LECHIEN: Oui, je le comprends avec tout l’argent de l’entreprise et la télévision que nous avons avec SX/MX ces jours-ci… J’aime encore les jours de dire ce que vous ressentez et si vous gagnez la course, vous obtenez d’embrasser la fille trophée!
